Project Management = Skills for Life

With the support of the Project Management Institute Educational Foundation JA Ireland have launched the Project Management Skills for Life initiative with 8 schools across Limerick, Clare and Dublin.  200 Transition Year students will take part in the project which will run until May 2016. Project Management Skills for Life is designed to support students to understand, plan, carry out, monitor and evaluate a project of their own.

Through their participation in the project students will be better prepared for future success and will learn skills that will be beneficial for them in their future academic lives and careers. The initiative is designed across 4 modules:

  • Preparing for a Project
  • Planning a Project
  • Running a Project
  • Review and evaluation of Project

Project Management volunteers from Dell, PM Group and SAP are kindly assisting the students to understand all elements to successfully manage a project from beginning to end.
